Doosri Maa is a Zee Studios and Imtiaz Punjabi co-production that will feature the return of the on-screen mother-son combination of Neha Joshi as Yashoda and Ayudh Bhanushali as Krishna. The series started on &TV on September 20th, 2022, and airs weeknights at 8:00 p.m.

Doosri Maa’s Ashok (Mohit Dagga) explains that their family celebrates Dhanteras with great reverence and tradition. Before we go out shopping, we start the day by cleaning the house. Following our extensive shopping expedition, we will conduct a traditional Dhanteras puja. This year, I want to join my wife and daughter in shopping to help them get new attire and accessories for the impending Diwali holiday. We also plan to purchase a gold coin and a broom, both of which are traditionally associated with good fortune on New Year’s Day. I remember the joy that Dhanteras brought into my childhood in Gadarwara, Madhya Pradesh. When I was a kid, my mom never let go of my hand the entire time we were in a crowded store, and I would constantly beg for the balloons and toys I saw. Those times, however, were unforgettable. Dhanteras encourages us to be grateful for the blessings we’ve been given. True riches, however, in my opinion, is the quality of our health. On this momentous occasion, let us all pray for one another and our families, seeking bodily, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I hope you all have a wonderful Dhanteras.
